Located on the Bijou Theater Building, this design celebrates the ‘Surf and Sand Club’ (aka Biltmore Hotel). Hermosa means Beautiful, and the beach culture here in the 1920s, 30s, and 40s was muy hermosa.

The concept’s inner space is like Mesa Verde – in the sense that it is a portal to the past. The clouds heighten the excavated structure. As we peer in, we experience an archeological rush; happy beach age inhabitants of another time.
